Patty Peck Honda Offers Sixth Car For FOCH Benefit

2016hondafitlxcvtPatty Peck Honda will give another car away as part of Fondren’s Zippity Doo Dah® Weekend.

Its color? Why, Aegean blue metallic, of course.

The sixth donation by the Ridgeland dealership in as many years is dubbed the Patty Peck Doo Dah Day™ Blue Car Giveaway. Proceeds raised benefit Friends of Children’s Hospital. The giveaway will happen prior to Fondren’s Zippity Doo Dah® Parade on April 2.

Last year’s winner, Stephanie Robertson of Brandon, got the shock of a lifetime, using a key to open a treasure chest on live TV, the signal she would take home the big prize. Standing in line among nine other finalists waiting for her chance to try the lock, she said last March, “I told the lady next to me in line that this was a dead key…that it’s not going to work. I had no feeling about being a winner. It was a huge shock. We were very excited and grateful.”

Tickets, on sale today for $10 each, are available at foch.org. The earlier you buy, the better chance you have to win. Friends’ Melanie Schade says that key drawings are held weekly on Fridays prior to April 1. “If you don’t win a key, your name is placed back into the drawing for the next week,” Schade says. On Saturday the April 2, a final key will be drawn prior to the grand prize drawing.”

The Honda Fit, a sporty sub compact, is big on space and features that include a 130-hp 4-Cylinder Engine with Direct Injection, Multi-Angle Rearview Camera with Guidelines, Second-Row Magic Seats and Bluetooth HandsFreeLink and Streaming Audio.

Tickets are available online at foch.org and in person at the cashier near the service department at Patty Peck Honda in Ridgeland.
